This morning, Mayor Robert Sullivan, Director of Constituent Services and Community Engagement/Outreach John Messia, Community Liaison Joseph Francois, and PR/Communications Associate Suzanne McCormack joined Council on Aging (COA) Director Janice Fitzgerald, COA staff, and community members at the annual Veterans’ Breakfast hosted by the COA. The event, held to honor and express gratitude to the City’s veterans, featured a breakfast proudly served by members of the Rotary Club of Brockton. Veteran attendees represented decades of dedicated service to the United States. Also present were Massachusetts State Senator Michael Brady, State Representative Rita Mendes, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz, Brockton City Councilors Susan Nicastro and Jack Lally, Brockton Police Chief Brenda Perez, Brockton Fire Chief Brian Nardelli, and Director of Veterans’ Services Kelly Young. We extend our sincere thanks to the Council on Aging and Brockton Veterans’ Services for their continued efforts to honor our veterans and recognize their service and sacrifice.

Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Mayor’s Office, first floor of City Hall, 45 School Street, Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30, between now and Friday, December 20th. The toys will be distributed to various Brockton organizations who will provide them to area families.
