CITY OF BROCKTON CEMETERY DEPARTMENT WILL BE REMOVING FROM THE LOTS AND GRAVES ALL WREATHS, BASKETS, AND POTTED PLANTS OR ANYTHING THAT WILL INTERFERE WITH THE PROPER SPRING MAINTENANCE. THIS WILL TAKE PLACE ON OR BEFORE THE 22nd OF MARCH AT ALL CITY OWNED CEMETERIES.

CREMATION BURIALS WILL BE ON HOLD AS OF DECEMBER 13TH & WILL RESUME EARLY SPRING.

The Cemetery Department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the following city-owned cemeteries:

- *Ashland Street, located at North Main Street (1.47 acres)
- Coweeset, located at Pearl Street (12.07 acres)
- *Leech, located at Crescent Street (0.81 acres)
- Thayer, located at Pleasant Street (0.5 acres)
- *Thompson's, located at Summer Street (0.18 acres)
- Union, located at 327 Centre Street (21.5 acres)
- Snell, located at West Street (0.28 acres)
- Old Coweeset, located at Mill Street (0.25 acres)
- *First Parish, located at Main Street
*These cemeteries are locked. Please call the office 508-580-7833 in advance to set up a date and time for us to let you in. Thank you.
