TIMOTHY CARPENTER

Tim Carpenter joined the City of Brockton as Superintendent of Parks/Acting Superintendent of Cemeteries in 2011.

Tim received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Union College in 1998 and a Certificate in Turf Management from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2005.

In his role as Superintendent of Parks, Tim oversees the care, maintenance, use, and permitting of all City Parks under the control of the Park Commission, including D.W. Field Park, D.W. Field Golf Course and City Hall Plaza. Tim prepares and administers the Department budget and is an active participant in seeking grant funding for park and playground improvements. Tim provides oversight for all Park Department staff and serves as the Executive Officer for the City of Brockton Park Commission.

Responsibilities in his role as Acting Superintendent of Cemeteries include, but are not limited to; scheduling and overseeing all burials within City operated Cemeteries as well as coordinating all care and maintenance of the grounds. Tim prepares and administers the department budget and provides oversight for all Cemetery Department staff.
