2 HOURS ARE NEEDED BETWEEN SAME SECTION BURIALS. PLEASE CALL GENERAL FOREMAN ERIK 508-577-0000 IF YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE IN THE SAME SECTION.
DUE TO THE CONCERNS WITH COVID-19 THE CEMETERY DEPT. HAS UPDATED ITS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE,
THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE TO SERVE AS PALLBEARERS. IT WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL FUNERAL DIRECTORS TO ASSIGN THOSE THAT WILL TRANSPORT A CASKET FROM THE TRANSPORT VEHICLE TO THE PLOT AND PLACEMENT ON THE LOWERING DEVICE.
A TOTAL MAXIMUM OF ONE (1) GROUP OF 10 PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO GATHER AT THE GRAVESIDE. IT WILL BE INCUMBENT ON FUNERAL DIRECTORS TO INFORM CLIENTS OF THIS POLICY AND TO HELP IN ITS ENFORCEMENT.
A MAXIMUM OF 10 VEHICLE ALLOWED AS PART OF ANY FUNERAL PROCESSION.
ALL THOSE ATTENDING THE GRAVESITE MUST BE WEARING MASKS.
THE CASKET WILL ONLY BE LOWERED BY CEMETERY STAFF AND WILL NOT TAKE PLACE UNTIL ALL VISITORS HAVE LEFT THE GRAVESITE. FAMILY MAY REMAIN IN THEIR VEHICLES TO VIEW THE LOWERING OF THE CASKET.
WE UNDERTAND THESE CHANGES WILL BE DIFFICULT BUT WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.
THE CEMETERY DEPARTMENT WILL BE REMOVING FROM LOTS AND GRAVES ALL WREATHS, BASKETS, AND POTTED PLANTS OR ANYTHING THAT WILL INTERFERE WITH THE PROPER SPRING MAINTENANCE. THIS WILL TAKE PLACE ON OR BEFORE THE 15TH OF MARCH 2020 AT ALL CITY OWNED CEMETERIES. PER THE SUPERINTENDENT OF CEMETERIES.

- Only 1 "New Single Grave" or "New 2 Grave" burial per day
- Monday-Friday you must be in by 1:00, Saturdays by 12:00, or a late charge will apply, $200/hour
- No personal checks please. Make check payable to "City of Brockton"
There must be one hour between funerals that are in or near the same sections of the cemetery. The General Foreman, Erik Duquette, will making the final decision if he feels he can not accommodate the amount of traffic on any given day.
Additionally, families are no longer allowed to shovel dirt onto the casket. We have experienced some very negative situations because of this act.

We are closed on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- Washington's Birthday
- Patriot's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veteran's Day (or the following Monday)
- Thanksgiving Day and the following day
- Christmas Day
We close at 10:00 on the following days:
- Good Friday
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve
