As a lifelong resident of Brockton’s East side, I am very excited to serve my community as Ward 5 Brockton City Councilor. At age 42, I live on Brockton’s Eastside with my wife and 3 beautiful daughters in the same house I grew up in as a child. Brockton to me is home, it shaped who I am, and it is where I choose to work and raise a family.

As a Father, a Lawyer and a Veteran I feel a strong sense of duty to give back to my community and believe very strongly in public service. Upon graduating from Brockton High School in 1995 I enlisted in the United States Navy and spent 7 years on active duty. I was stationed in San Diego, CA and served on the USS Juneau (LPD-10) and the USS Dubuque (LPD-8). During my military service I received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal three times.

After my military service I enrolled at San Diego State University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science. Once completing my degree, I decided to return home to Brockton while I pursued my law degree from New England School of Law in Boston. For the past 10 years I have operated my own law practice in the city of Brockton and have advocated for and represented the interests of many individuals, families, and businesses throughout the community. I previously served as a board member on the Brockton Zoning Board of Appeals and have enjoyed my involvement in our local government.

I value the priorities of my neighbors and share the concerns of all residents in Ward 5. I believe in the tremendous potential of the City of Brockton and the inherent wisdom of its residents. Our City is undergoing fundamental change and we need leadership in Ward 5 to carry this momentum onward.

As Ward 5 representative on Brockton’s city council, I will have a laser focus on ensuring the safety of our residents, the proper education of our children and increasing economic development.

I also believe our local politics has become too divisive. The legislative body of municipal government must work effectively with its executive office. It is vital that we build consensus and produce results for our constituents. As residents of Brockton we are all in this together. We should unify under simple principles: Compassion for our fellow neighbor, the rule of law, and the liberty to pursue happiness.

I believe that I have the integrity, experience and leadership to make an effective Ward 5 city councilor. I will be accessible and attentive to my constituents and ask that they join me in my pursuit of a better Brockton.
