The Brockton Police Youth Academy Program is Recruiting Now! In Partnership with the Brockton Public School Department and Trinity Catholic  Academy

The Youth Academy provides Brockton middle school stude nts the opportunity to learn the basics in law enforcement.
The Youth Academy is a stepping stone to potential future law enforcement opportunities. Once students complete the Youth Academy, these students can then continue their law enforcement path by applying to join the Brockton Police Junior Cadet Program and the Brockton Police Cadet Program.

Eligibility Requirements:

• 1-14 Years of Age
• Current Middle School Student
• Minimal Office Referrals for Negative Behavior
• Outgoing, Enthusiastic, Motivated

Curriculum Topics:

• Criminal Law & Traffic Law
• Gang Prevention
• Pedestrian Safety & Bicycle Safety
• Firearms Safety & Taser Awareness
• Use of Force
• Applied Patrol Procedures
• Social Media/Cyber-bulling/Drones
• Vaping

Program Dates:

April 4, 2023 – May 30, 2023  5:00 PM – 7:00 PM  Every Tuesday Excluding School Vacation Week
