Notice is hereby given that the Ordinance Committee will meet on July 26, 2023 at 6 PM in the Council Chambers, 2^nd. Fl., City Hall, 45 School St., Brockton, MA to review the following Ordinances and all interested parties may attend:

1. Ordinance: Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Brockton, Appendix C – Zoning, Article III, General Regulation and Permitted Modifications is hereby amended to increase building heights in selected zones (R-3, R-4, all commercial and industrial zones).

2. Ordinance: Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Brockton, Appendix C – Zoning, Article III, Section 27-20 “Accessory Structures” be amended by establishing new provisions for fence heights.

3. Ordinance: Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Brockton, Appendix C – Zoning, Article III, General Regulation and Permitted Modifications be amended to establish Home Occupation uses as a Right and Home Occupation uses by a Special Permit.

4. Ordinance: Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Brockton, Article III – General Regulations and Permitted Modifications of the City’s Zoning Ordinances be amended by inserting establishing restrictions for Portable Storage Containers in Residential, Commercial and Industrial Zones.

5. Ordinance: Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Brockton, Article III – General Regulations and Permitted Modifications of the City’s Zoning Ordinances, be amended by establishing special permit requirements for exterior stairways above the ground floor.

6. Ordinance: Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Brockton, Article V – Special Uses of the City’s Zoning Ordinances, Section 27-38 “Standards” be amended be deleting Subsection 27-38(j) in its entirety.
