June is Pride month, the time of year when we celebrate the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer individuals have had on history.

During this Pride month, The Brockton Council on Aging will host a special screening of Generation Silent, a critically acclaimed documentary about LGBTQIA+ older people going back in­to the closet to survive an often hostile care system. Afterward, we will have a presentation led by Attorney Rebecca Spinner from the Law Offices of Surprenant and Beneski about the rights of same-sex marriage couples as it pertains to estate planning.
