Ms. Cabral is the former Sheriff of Suffolk County, Assistant DA, and Secretary of Public Safety. She is now the CEO of Ascend Wellness, a recreational marijuana company poised to open shops in the Boston area. Her company will not be operating in Brockton at this time. This lively Q&A session will answer citizens’ questions about topics such as areas of disproportionate impact, diversity plans, positive impact plans, and how we as Brocktonians can be better informed about this new industry coming to our city. Ms. Cabral will be sharing her insights on how her company plans to be a positive representative of the industry and a good neighbor where they will be operating.
