Parks and Recreation

The Parks Department is responsible for maintaining all city owned recreation facilities, D.W. Field Park, the adjacent golf course, as well as more than 40 baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, and several Veterans’ Memorials, and smaller parks throughout the city.

Permits are required for use of parks and fields. Permits must be picked up at the Parks Department, 45 Meadow Lane.
The season for use is April 1 - November 15, annually.

Parks and Recreation Commission

The Parks and Recreation Commission meets the second Thursday of every month, at 7 p.m. in the Parks Department Office, 45 Meadow Lane.
