In celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, the City of Brockton is hosting a flag-raising event at City Hall. Mayor Robert Sullivan made the announcement.

The flag-raising will take place at City Hall Plaza (45 School St.) on Thursday, June 1, at 3:30 pm.

“As Mayor of the City of Brockton, my goal is to ensure the safety and security of all residents regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation,” said Mayor Robert Sullivan. “I look forward to recognizing the Brockton LGBTQIA+ community every year.”

This year’s celebration features resource tables from BAMSI and Health Imperatives in addition to a musical performance by the Brockton High School Choir.
