Brockton Area’s 2021 Overdose Vigil by Candlelight will be held on Tuesday, August 31st at Brockton High School in the parking lot between the Fine Arts Building and Asiaf Arena. Resources will be available starting at 6:30 and the program will begin at 7PM.

This year, there will be multiple options for viewing:

-Sit in the chairs provided at Brockton High School
-Sit in the comfort of your own vehicle parked in between BHS Fine Arts Department and Asiaf Arena. Make it a special occasion with your family by tailgating from your car.
-Tune into the Radio WBMS 1460 AM, 101.1 FM, or WMEX 1510 AM
-The event will be LiveStreamed on the BAPC Facebook

If you would like to include a photo of your loved one in this year’s memorial slideshow, the photo, along with the person’s full name must be emailed to [email protected] by Friday, August 13th, and meet the following criteria:

-Must be submitted by a family member.

-The person cannot be actively consuming drugs, alcohol, or smoking.

-The person must be clearly identifiable (cannot be a picture of multiple people of the same gender).
-Must be of an adequate size and quality to be significantly enlarged. (screenshots of photographs or prayer cards cannot be blown up)

-Screenshots from phones must be cropped to just the photograph.
