BAMRC
The Brockton Area Medical Reserve Corps is a group of trained volunteers that work to make the community a safer place in the event of an emergency or disaster. A partnership between the Brockton Board of Health and the Massasoit Community College Division of Nursing & Allied Health, the BAMRC began in 2006.
The BAMRC offers volunteer opportunities for health professionals such as: doctors, nurses, EMTs, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, mental health counselors, physician assistants, allied health professionals, pharmacy technicians, psychologists, licensed social workers, and more. The BAMRC also has opportunities for non-medical professionals to volunteer as: greeters, educators, IT specialists, transportation drivers, child care, clergy, food prep, interpreters, escorts, maintenance/custodial, data entry, public safety, and more.
Whether you have medical skills or just want to contribute to the health and safety of your community, BAMRC needs you.
