Thomas DeChellis joined the City of Brockton in 1988. First employed as a Civilian Telephone Operator for the Brockton Police Department, in 1995 Tom was presented with an opportunity to work as an Animal Control Officer for the city’s Animal Control Department. In 2000 he was promoted to lead the department. As Director, he is responsible for the effective management, administration and coordination of the operation. All fiscal and financial affairs as well as all personnel assigned to the department are under his purview.
