Paul began his tenure as Director of the Brockton Public Library System in December, 2016. Previous to his arrival at Brockton, Paul was the Director of Library Services at the Stan Getz Library, Berklee College of Music, a role he held for over 20 years. In his role as Library Director, Paul is responsible for all administrative functions for the City’s library system, and he is the primary spokesperson and contact for all library related matters. Paul first came to Boston in 1984 to study at the Berklee College of Music where he ultimately received his Bachelors degree in music. Paul continued his studies at the University of North Texas where he earned a Masters degree in library and information science.
