Martin Brophy joined the City of Brockton as the Assistant Treasurer/Collector in December 2001 and in September 2010 was appointed Treasurer/Collector. Martin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Stonehill College. He is responsible for the collection of all City revenues and taxes, cash investments, issues payroll and accounts payable payments, debt service, bond issuance, and providing stable financial management. Prior to joining the City Martin spent 16 years in Retail Management.
