The motion was made, seconded, and passed to accept the February 18th minutes.

MEET THE WOMEN COMMISSIONERS…What Can We Do For You?
Thursday, April 16th- from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at ENSO GALLERY | 50 Center Street, Brockton 02301.Parking: 25 Lincoln Street. (Lincoln Street Pkg Lot, next to the fried chicken restaurant. I believe it’s called BFC. The lot is on the corner of Montello & Lincoln Streets.
APRIL 16 EVENT/ GETTING THE WORD OUT: Bev uploaded Promo Ads & Sent flyers to different groups to send to their communities.
ENSO GALLERY- Cost & what’s provided.
FOOD COMMITTEE: Report
WHAT WE’RE BRINGING:

SETUP/ CLEANUP-

4:30 pm- who will help Bev & Lori? Natasha & Eugenie, Cynthia
NEW WC LOGO: Laminate & use sticking up from flowers in vases.

LIQUOR at events- Liquor cannot be expensed from the budget. Requires a $100 city liquor license. We won’t be having liquor.
CITY TAX EXEMPT CERTIFICATE
FOOD at EVENTS- Requires Temporary VENDOR license- $50. Food Vendors must be trained in ‘ServeSafe’ food handler.
BUDGET SPREADSHEET:
FACEBOOK: Eugenie is adding women who need to be celebrated for their accomplishments. If you know of any, let her know. Natasha will start working on a design for adding our commissioner photos.
BROCKTON COA TALK: Friday, March 20. Lori & Eugenie were speakers & planned a fun, interactive event. Lori led a few Reiki exercises for their well-being.
MCWS LISTENING SESSION- 3/24/26- Public hearing: Lori & Bev attended. Very powerful witnessing women’s testimonies in person & on Zoom.

MAY EVENT: BROCKTON WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS- Tuesday, May 12th at 9 am at NeighborWorks (Breakfast meet & greet). Coffee & breakfast snacks will be provided by Trish White, the small business development officer for NeighborWorks.

Next meeting is Wednesday, Apr 15th at 5:30 on Zoom.
