INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BOARD MEETING
Minutes March 12, 2026
Present: Edward Medeiros Jr., John O’Donnell, Emmanuel Evora, Neal Fama, Christopher Illescas,
Geoffrey Keenan, Stephen Pina
Excused: Claudio Gomes, Christopher Hill, Jeffrey Thompson
Call to Order: 1:04 p.m.
The reading of the minutes from January 8, 2026, meeting was waived. Motion by Geoffrey Keenan,
seconded by Stephen Pina.
Old business:
a. The Parking Authority is starting their move back to 50 School Street today. Their official move
in date is tomorrow, March 13ᵗʰ. Additionally, the Mayor’s Office has completed their move back to
the first floor of City Hall. The DPW relocation will follow, with a specific date still to be
determined.
b. Cyber Security Training has begun. The initial results are excellent: less than 2% of the body
opened the phishing email, resulting in a 98% success rate.
c. The IT Center has completed their move to the Public Safety Building.
d. BEMA, Fire Administration and Prevention has completed their move to the Public Safety Building.
The Police Department’s move remains ongoing. Additionally, a cleaning contract has been finalized,
and services are scheduled to begin shortly.
New business:
a. Our website vendor is working to streamline the website update process, allowing departments to
post their own minutes and agendas directly. Recent additions include new sections for Workers’
Comp. and Planning. Regarding ADA Compliance, they have been working on converting only
the most recent documents while older documents are exempt.
b. Hardware prices are increasing. This trend is being felt by both the City & School Department.

a. Assistance from IT was requested with servicing the Quantela system.
