National Grid for Brockton Seniors

With energy bills expected to increase this winter, for both natural gas and electric service due to the increase in global energy prices, National Grid is providing different payment options and a discount rate to those who qualify to help you prepare for the winter season. National Grid is offering a discount of 32% off your electric bill.

If you receive benefits from Fuel Assistance, SNAP (food stamp), Mass Health, SSI Supplemental Security Income, or receive Veterans Benefits you can apply for the National Grid Discount.

You can apply online: www.ngrid.com/madiscount or if you are 60 or older and live in Brockton, you can schedule an appointment at the Brockton Council on Aging located at 10 Father Kenney Way with proof of one of these programs to apply.

National Grid is also offering, if you qualify, Shut Off Protection for Seniors, Payment Plans and a Forgiveness Program for anyone with a balance of $300.00 or more and is more than 60 days past due.
