Who We Are
Led by Mayor Moses Rodrigues and Commissioner Wadezah McCullough, the City of Brockton seeks to engage Brockton community members in a 9-person Advisory Council on Health. Appointed members will advise the Commissioner on:
- City health ordinances
- Equity-centered community health promotion and prevention strategies
- Advocacy efforts
- Emergency planning
- Other health-related topics
Who We Need
- Registered Physicians Must be a registered physician (MD or DO)
- Non-Healthcare-Related Community Members Cannot work for a healthcare organization, non-profit, or health insurer
- Community Members Can work in any sector
Special Attention to:

- People living with disabilities
- Sexual orientation & gender identity
Experience:
- Lived experience with chronic health and/or low socioeconomic conditions
- Community-based volunteering in Brockton
- Working with and/or for Brockton residents
