City of Brockton to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for New Public Safety Building

BROCKTON, MA – The City of Brockton is proud to announce the completion of its new Public Safety Building, marking the culmination of a years-in-the-making project to strengthen public safety and emergency response.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will commemorate this historic milestone, celebrating a state-of-the-art facility that will house the City’s Information Technology, Fire, and Police Departments, as well as the Brockton Emergency Management Agency (BEMA). By bringing these four vital departments together under one roof, the City is enhancing interagency coordination and reaffirming its commitment to the safety and well-being of all residents, visitors, and business owners.

The City of Brockton extends its sincere gratitude to Suffolk Construction, KBA Architects, and CHA Companies for their true partnership in bringing this transformative vision to life. We also thank our dedicated City departments including Public Works, Emergency Management, Law, Building, Finance, Fire, Police, Information Technology, and Auditing for their unwavering support throughout this long project. Above all, we thank our residents, visitors, and business owners for their patience and understanding during this process.

This achievement is a testament to what we can accomplish together. The “City of Champions” has taken on a monumental task and delivered with flying colors.
