The American Heart Association, through its Libraries with Heart national initiative, is partnering with the Brockton Public Library to unveil three new blood pressure stations (and portable blood pressure cuffs which will be added to our Library of Things Collection) across the three Brockton library branches.
The stations will allow library patrons to check their blood pressure for free and borrow loaner blood pressure cuffs to use at home—just like checking out a book or DVD. This initiative is part of the American Heart Association’s Libraries with Heart program, bringing lifesaving health resources into trusted community spaces.
