Chief of Staff
Nick Giaquinto is the Chief of Staff to the Mayor and has served in the administration since 2014. In this capacity, he manages office staff, directs all operations, and assists and advises the Mayor on key issues. Nick is an alumnus of Suffolk University, (Class of 2010) having earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from UMass Boston. Upon graduation from Suffolk, Nick immediately began working in politics, serving as an employee of the Massachusetts House of Representatives in several different capacities over the span of more than three years. While serving the House, Nick worked as Research Director for the Joint Committee on Labor & Workforce Development under Chairwoman Cheryl Coakley-Rivera. Additionally, he served as Director of Communications & Budget in her transition to a new leadership role as Assistant Vice-Chair for the House Ways and Means committee.
