The City of Brockton veterans’ Services Department will flag approximately 2,500 veteran graves at Melrose Cemetery in observance of Memorial Day. We appreciate any volunteers willing to help with the perpetual care of veteran graves. Flags and grave markers are provided. The event is outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather (sunscreen, jacket, sturdy shoes, etc.).
Please note that this will be our second day of flagging Melrose, and the event may conclude before 12PM based on how much gets done on Monday 5/19.
