Celebrate grandparent’s day early with the young people in your life. Please bring your grandchildren, great grandchildren or great nieces and nephews to this special event at the Brockton Council on Aging. Meet Officer Al Gazerro of the Brockton Police Department and Lt. Don Gazerro of the Brockton Fire Department as they share what it’s like to be a   first responder, what they really do and why they chose to pursue the positions they did. Check out one of Brockton’s Fire Engines and Police Squad Cars up close and ask if you can get your picture taken in the squad car. Then we’ll enjoy a good old fashion ice cream float sponsored and served by staff from Connemara Senior Living.
