Free Family STEM Week Celebration

More than two dozen organizations, schools, and experts will be on hand at the Brockton Public Library to showcase the power of STEM, including the Brockton High Robotics Club, Massasoit Community College Bee Project, Plymouth County Mosquito Control, Home Depot Kids Workshop, Manomet Conservation Science, and many more.
This year’s STEM Night is packed with excitement:
• Buzz into science with bees, bugs, and mosquitos
• Create and invent with 3D printers and 3D pens
• Whip up a Tornado in a Bottle and test your creativity in the Wind Tube Challenge
• Take home your own plant, courtesy of the Brockton Garden Club
• Explore the future with Artificial Intelligence and art demonstrations
“STEM is about more than science and math—it’s about preparing our children for success in a rapidly changing world,” said Brockton Library STEM Week organizer, Pat Monteith. “This event gives families a chance to learn, play, and imagine together while discovering the incredible opportunities STEM careers have to offer.”
Each October, the Governor’s Office calls on organizations across Massachusetts to highlight STEM education, and the Brockton Public Library has proudly answered that call for seven years running. This year’s event promises to be the biggest and most engaging yet, sparking curiosity in students of all ages and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Don’t miss out on this unforgettable night of discovery, creativity, and fun!
