This free family concert will feature the Prokofiev classic musical story performed by Nicole Marane, pipe organ; Hope Vasquez, percussion; and Brockton High School’s own Matt Cunningham, narrator. Co-sponsored by Arts & Music at Christ Church and the Southeastern MA Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, the event will also present “Orgelkids” – a working model of a pipe organ that will be assembled before and after the concert which will begin at 1 pm and be approximately 1 hour in length.
This program is appropriate for children aged 4 and above, accompanied by an adult and nursery care will be available for infants and children up to 4 years old.
Location is Christ Congregational Church, 1350 Pleasant Street, Brockton, with all parking in back of the building which is handicapped accessible.
