A public hearing is to be held under M.G.L. chapter 140 section 157, Dog Complaints & the Hearing Authority. The dog “Mamba”, owned by Angelita Chesson of 216 Market Street, Brockton.

On September 18, 2024. Mamba attacked and severely injured a party while on a public way. As a result of the Animal Control Departments investigation, other prior acts of aggression and biting were discovered. Based on this information, it is believed the dog poses a significant threat to public safety.
