This meeting notice is being filed and posted in each city or town within the Central Plymouth County Water District, pursuant to General Law Chapter 30A, Section 20. Said notice and agenda must be filed in the offices of the city and town clerks within the District at least 48 hours prior to such meeting. Such filing and posting shall be the responsibility of the officer calling the meeting.

Water Quality Monitoring Project Sampling and Analysis Plan

  • The Draft Sampling and Analysis Plan for the Silver Lake Water Quality Monitoring Project is available for public comment. The Draft SAP describes the proposed scope of the field sampling program, including locations, schedule, and methods to be used. This program involves the sampling of surface water, groundwater and sediment within Silver Lake, its tributaries, and the supporting water bodies (Monponsett ponds, Furnace Pond), evaluation of the resulting data, and development of potential alternatives for consideration for both short- and long-term management of Silver Lake.
  • The CPCWDC is hosting a public meeting to review the plan with interested stakeholders and provide an opportunity for questions and input.
  • The Draft Silver Lake Water Quality Monitoring Project Sampling and Analysis Plan is available for review at: https://www.centralplymouthcountywater.org/water-quality-monitoring-at-silver-lake.html
  • Written comments on the Draft plan are due by August 20, 2021 at 5PM via email to [email protected] and [email protected].
