CodeRED is a telephone/email communication service that allows the City of Brockton to quickly notify citizens and businesses about emergency situations. Alerts are available in the language of your choice.

All citizens and business are encouraged to register. Brockton Emergency Management Agency uses the CodeRED system to notify citizens about emergencies such as:

• Drinking water contamination
• Extreme weather conditions
• Evacuation notices and routes
• Missing persons
• Hazardous materials incident or gas leak
• Other emergency incidents where rapid and accurate notification is essential

Cell Phone Users: Download the app. Use your login information to log in.

Landline Users: No cell phone? No problem. If you have a landline, you are likely already in the system. CodeRED uses databases to reach residential landlines.

You can use your email: No landline or cell? Register an email address to receive electronic alerts on a computer.

How to Register: It’s easy for you and your family members to register. Simply go to the registration link and fill out the required information.

Various languages: You can program CodeRed to communicate in your desired language.
