Brockton, Massachusetts Bulky Item Pickup Program

These items require a $20 per item prepayment. Resident may put out more than one per week as long as they pay through City Hall Systems.

Items requiring $20 disposal fee:

• Mattress or box spring: $20 disposal fee – all sizes
• Couch or loveseat: $20 disposal fee
• TV or computer monitor: $20 disposal fee – all sizes

Brockton residents may also put out one item not listed above per unit per week free of charge (Not including any size TV, CRT, Mattress or Box Spring ALSO Couch or Loveseat over 59” which are $20 each)

Brockton Trash Guidelines 2023-2024

The city will collect one bulk item (dresser, chair, table, etc.) or appliance (refrigerator with doors off, washer, dryer, mower, etc.) per week. Schedule pickup at least 48 hours before your next trash pickup day. Place item next to trash cart on trash day.

Brockton residential service does NOT include construction debris or doors
