Advisory Council on Health
Who We Are
The City of Brockton’s Advisory Council on Health, led by Mayor Moses Rodrigues and Commissioner Wadezah McCullough, is seeking to engage community members to serve on a nine-member council. Appointed members will provide guidance and recommendations to the Commissioner on:
- City health ordinances
- Equity-centered community health promotion and prevention strategies
- Advocacy efforts
- Emergency planning
- Other health-related topics
WHO WE NEED
Registered Physicians: Must be a registered physician (MD or DO)
Non-Healthcare-Related Community Members: Cannot work for a healthcare organization, nonprofit, nor health insurer
Community Members: Can work in any sector

Experience
Lived experience with chronic health and/or low socioeconomic conditions
